Dead Man's Bones

Well, listening to this album I think I have figured out why I love it so much: it is composed of sounds I loved to hear as a kid. What sounds do I mean? Probably the same one's as other kids. It is that element of fear, more like spook though, because that fear is tamed by the echoes of wonder and child enchantment. All you ever wanted to do as a youngin' was fly off and explore, be frightened, and feel sheltered all at once. Discover and fall. Feel illuminated, dance, crawl, and hide with moon lit trees. This album is the soundtrack to a child's imagination. It could almost be the soundtrack to Where the Wild Things Are, if there wasn't already one. That being said, go out to a park after sunset, with headphones on, and just fly away with Dead Man's Bones.
